Racehorse Sanctuary

As well as trying to get some decent photos of racehorses in action on the track (some efforts on this page) in recent years I have been supporting a charity called The Racehorse Sanctuary. Based in Sussex they support the retraining and rehoming of horses that have finished their racing careers.

Despite the overall huge sums of money involved in the racing industry, and the many official efforts made to help retrain and rehome former racehorses, this particular charity relies entirely on voluntary donations to fund its work. There are also a few of my 3D-stereo photos of the horses here.

I have produced a photo book on Blurb of scenes at the stables. An early reader said:
